lexapro 6 weeks update

6 weeks on lexapro now. much better.  sleeping well with no medications.anxiety level is getting better and better. much less uptight, on edge, getting back to were i used to be like. the physical. symptoms are fading away. no internal shaking anymore/ nerve feelings in neck and chest are pretty much gone.  only side effect that is still there is headaches  and pulsing feeling in back of head. ive been told they will go away also. still a little anxious  hopefully that will go away also. still a little fatigue at night also. overall much better, exercising daily, streaching , doing relaxation exercises. hopefully it just continues to get better.  a huge improvement over just a month ago. Im glad to hear that both of you are feeling better since youve been on the lexapro, i remember when i first started about 2 years ago, i remember the headaches and in the back of the head, but they do pass and you will not get them back again, it took me about 6-8 months to feel better, maybe even longer, i remember the first year on medication, i didnt want to do much, go on vacation, wasnt stable feeling enough, so im glad to hear that it hasent taken that long for both of you to start feeling better.  good luck and keep the faith, your life will come back to you again.

Hey there, I have been on Zoloft now for 26 days and just upped my dose today to 50mg.  I started it because my anxiety was causing me to shake and feel dizzy all the time.  I still haven't gotten any relief and I am loosing my faith - were you feeling similar?  I can't decide if I should hang in there or not.  The Zoloft really helped me one other time in my life durning a short period of anxiety, was hoping for the same result.  Oh well, you have given me more hope.  Thanks

wonderful news...

Been on celexa for about 5 1/2 weeks...and seem to be doing better each day.  I'm still a little edgy when just sitting around, but am sleeping better.

Hope all side effects subside...further, I hope we can all find remedies for our anxiety.
