limp arms

latley my arms have felt limp.
like just "hanging there"
there not numb or anything i can feel them.
they just kinda feel sorta heavy.
its mostly my left arm.
i pulled a muscle a week or so ago right in my shoulder the like between my arm and collerbone
im thinking its that that just spread to my arm. i kept having muscles spasms in my fingers when i moved them today.
im thinking i pulled muscle or pinched a nerve or something.
im just afraid of having a stroke. is this normal?
oh and when i feel this its usually followed by anxiety and then i worry about it so much it feels like my arms isnt there or i cant move it.
help?

Thank you.
I have a doctors appointment on Monday and I will talk to my doctor about it.
I will keep you posted.
Thank you :)

Have you seen a doctor about this?  It is almost definately not a stroke, but if you pulled something and it is bothering you, why not get it checked out? Anxiety can play so many games in our heads, especially when we get injured or sick; we tend to think of the worst outcome when it in fact is a normal feeling and reaction to pain.  Get it checked out and keep us posted!

I don't think you've had a stroke but you might have overdone things. See how things are in a couple of weeks.

I find anxiety gives waves of weakness and a general tiredness rather than the heavy limbed feeling.

That feeling normally comes with a) not eating enough and regularly enough or b) fighting off some bug or about to get a cold. So that's why you should see how things are in a couple of weeks.

Take care and be kind to yourself.
