thanks. but do you still think its from my dad passing away? it's been about 8 months and i mean i have been depressed about it the whole time but health wise I was doing fine until about 3 months ago :(
First I am sorry for your loss. I am going to bet that your sharp pains are coming from constantly being tense and overworking your nerves. If you ever have time watch someone that is frightened or anxious, like when they are watching a scary movie. The shoulders are tensed, the body is under constant attack due to the chemical release of fight or flight hermones, and the stress causes cramping.
Its still best to take Mammo's advice when you begin to recover, which you will. Loss of a loved one is an intense time but you will get back on your feet and motivated again. Get a quick checkup from your doctor, but when they find nothing I am betting the stress you are placing on your body is sending these random sharp pains.
Good Luck
Thank you. I have started seeing a therapist recently and it is helping a little with my anxiety. I just don't have any motivation to exercise. I mean just when I try to chase my son around and my heart starts racing, for some reason I am just terrified that I will have a heart attack or something awful. Probably because of how my dad died, I'm not sure. I don't feel so healthy now, I did like 6 months ago, but not now at all :( I have stopped smoking and am eating less. I don't know what else to do. I need like a work-out partner but I don't have any friends or family that live in the same city as me.
GERD won't cause most of the symptoms you describe. Your heart rate is up due to your heart having to work harder due to your weight. You need to do everything you can to reverse this, which includes healthier eating and exercsise. You may feel you're healthy now, but all of this will and is catching up with you. You should see a psychiatrist to address your anxiety and depression problems which can cause random pain. I's so sorry to hear about your dad. I'm not lecturing you, but the extra weight is making all your organs work harder, and can lead to diabates and a whole slew of other problems. See a psychiatrist and go from there, I want you to live a long and happy life. Take care.
