I just noticed that your post title is "Scared." There is nothing to be afraid of. I don't know why you're scared, but your symptoms are not related to cancer or brain tumors or anything horrible. You got yourself a case of "snotitis" and that's my final answer! LOL

Agree with "nina." As one who also suffers with pesky sinus problems, your symptoms sound all too familiar. We are entering allergy season, so keep that in mind. Even if you've never been diagnosed with allergies, they can suddenly begin at any age. You may also have a sinus infection which would require antibiotics. Lying down will cause our sinues to drain and could be increasing the sensation of squeezing pressure in your throat. If you are also having headaches and any dizziness, those are indications of an infection. Bottom line is that you should see an ENT for a correct diagnosis and treatment.

swollen sinuses is what it sounds like,
ask a doctor about it and get prescribed medication to keep the swelling down. something like nasonex will help, but that's mostly based on swelling caused by allergies... none the less, ask a doctor.
