I have been OFF diazepan (5 mg daily) now for 2 weeks  now  - the doctor started me on mirtazapine 30mg instead. After a first wobbly week I now feel much calmer and think perhaps I got away with it. Do you think I might have a bad reaction later on or am I in the clear

The safest way is to taper.  Never just stop any med without your doctor's advice.
