spitting up blood.
I just woke up. i went in used the restroom.. felt something in my throat and hacked up blood. it was the first time i've done that. and there was no coughing before it. what could this be?
If it was a one time occurence, it is probably nothng too worrisome. Sometimes a cold, dry air, allergies can cause some blood in our sputum. All of that being said, it wouldn't hurt to give your doctor a call.
