It also sounds different because of the laryngitis, a "nasty" cough, inability to go out in cold or humid weather and that she states the ability to breath is getting "even harder." If the weight loss was unintentional, then she definitely needs to see her doctor immediately.
I have had anxiety throat tightness but this sounds different because of weight loss.
While I can certainly understand these issues causing you anxiety, I'm not sure anxiety is causing THEM.
I strongly urge you to see your doctor for these problems and if you are indeed having problems breathing, you should be evaluated by a pulmonologist as soon as possible.
You stated that you've lost 60 pounds. Was that on purpose, through hard work, or are you losing weight for an unknown reason. If that is the case, your doctor needs to know this! (If you lost it by diet and exercise, then congratulations!)
Please see your doctor and have these issues looked into as soon as possible.
