I had MAJOR throat issues from anxiety. I developed food anxiety and couldn't eat as I though my throat was swelling. I do believe that many of the times there was nothing wrong, but sometimes I still could not breath.
It happened multiple times a day. I went to ER and doc for this many times, also for heart racing thinking I was having heart attack. They said nothing wrong but I was in so much pain that it was real.
So I know the throat thing is the WORST, but 95% chance is that you are not suffocating, and your throat is not closing. Just make sure you don't have an allergy. If it's not an allergy then it's anxiety. Not easy to deal with, but non-injurious physically nonetheless.
Wonder what you are worried about? Sounds like your doc is on the right track . Dealing with anxiety is hard. Feeling your pulse in that notch is normal. Perhaps you doc would allow you some med for aniexty and you find a friend or counselor who could listen and guide you as you learn about your worries and heal. I have been through the anxiety thing and it is hard. I worked really hard to get past it. I feel so much more at peace with myself now. Please keep me updated. Praying for ya.
