tingling sensation in facial area

I get this weird sensation on and off-it's mild feeling. But it feels like around my mouth(below my lips)-my lower cheeks-and upper neck get tingly-numblike. I can feel the skin but it just feels less than it usually does. I know this might sound confusion but I'm trying my best to explain it. I have been on Zoloft for 3 years for Panic/Anxiety/Depression and I also have Klonopin that I take as needed. That ranges anywhere from 3 times a week to once every two weeks. I read somewhere that benzo's can do this. I've recently had a MRI fro other symptoms so I'm pretty confident it's not MS or anything of that nature. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you and God Bless,
Leah

Ah, thank god I'm not the only one.
I find it when I'm stressed I get it, then when I think about it it gets worse.
It's like on my cheeks etc.
Ah. Am I right?

i know exactly what your talking about. it happens to me too, right under my lip on the left side. it's like, i can feel it..but not as much as normal. it's like that area has been partially frozen or desensitized. it's just anxiety and there's nothing to worry about.

There are times that I get the tingles in my mouth and in my fingers.  I have heard that they are anxiety related.  I can go months without it and then get it everyday for a period of a week or two.  It usually lasts through a bout with a small anxiety attack that I am experience.  Hope you feel well soon....but still tell your doctor of your symptoms.
