xanax to ativan

sorry another question. i had been taking xanax 0.25 prob once every few days, dr switched me to try ativan to see if it will last longer, 0.5. my question is, when is it ok to take the ativan? my last xanax was earlier tonite. is it ok to just stop xanax and go right to ativan? im new to this stuf

Once again, I can only echo mammos wise advice to call your doctor and follow his/her instuctions.

well she had previously only given me 15 pills of xanax, so thats all ive had over the past few months. and i told her id like to try ativan, so she gave me about 10 pills of that. i figured since im done with xanax i would just start the ativan?

If your doctor didn't tell you how to do this, then I would contact him and follow his instructions.
