xanax xr 1 mg
I have been on xanax xr 1 mg. my doc wants to wean me off now, its been about a year. xanax xr doesnt come in .75 so he wants to start me on xanax xr .50. Is this to fast to come off of it? Has anyone here ever weaned off of the xr before?
I had been taking them about 2 years and was taking about 6 pills a day. they made me up a chart that was when and how much I was to lower it weekly. Since they are so small I literally had to shave them down. I had headaches and minor anxiety and when I was completely weaned off I had a few hours where I was desperately searching my house for even the smallest piece of one. But it got better and wasnt anything like I have been through trying to wean down Paxil(still not successful)
He thinks I am just ready to come off. I am not starting nothing new. How did you taper off Alison? did you take anything else? did you have alot of withdrawals and how much and how long were you taking it?
I had to wean off xanax while pregnant. However it wasnt XR I didnt know they even made one. It has to be done very slowly. However if your doctor feels that its safe for you to go to 50 I would trust him. Is your anxiety under control that he wants you off it now or are you starting a new med?
