xanax
Hello I have been off of Lexapro 20mg for about 2 weeks now. I weaned off the medication like my doctor told me to do. I took the lexapro for about 3 months or so. Now that I am off the lexapro I just feel wierd. I am still taking xanax and just wondering if that is what is making me not feel like myself. Like i just feel as if i dont care about anything or anyone. and just act cocky. I am never like this and just need some advice on what is going on. Thanks Thomas

Probably some Lexapro withdrawal. Not particularly a bad one, so just relax, you'll probably be yourself soon. As Silverberg said, this doesn't sound like Xanax, it sounds much more like what people often feel like on an ssri and that's why I think it's probably a mild withdrawal.
I have never known xanax to do that? think it could be the adjustment to being off Lexapro? how much xanax you take? is this for anxiety or panic or both? and how long have you been on xanax?
