xanor and anxiety

I'm currently taking 25mcg Xanor (Alprazolam?) for 5 weeks now.  I can say I improve as compared for the last three months.  I started having this anxiety problem, after i suffered Heartburn, i can't breathe and sort of confusion going out of my mind when that happened.  I always feel dizzy, lightheadedness and fatigue.  Believe me, i already visited several specialist to find out whats wrong with me, cardio, pulmo, gastro, endocrinologist, neuro,ENT,opta, and neuro-psy being the last.  Some of them told me that i was just excited to my upcoming baby, my wife's is on her way this week.  But i'm still not convince with this factor, but i'm hoping this will end after my baby is born.

bro, im glad that im not the only pinoy sufferer in the world! hehe frankly, im having it for a year and a half (anxiety). in my point of view as of this day for me, there is no cure for it, its all in the mind, the only way to get rid of it on your head is to focus on other thing to do ro to read something like this forum. as of this moment in having a anxiety attack. but i learn to cope with it everyday with no medications. meds can slow you down. for me, to treat anxiety is to match my poalpitations by doing work, like cooking, walking, and even excersice. stay in there buddy! we can fight this

The ones that told you that it is probably excitment of new child comming into your life, May very well be right. Een though we do not always connect the possibility with our symptoms, doesn't mean that it isn't true. If this is new symptoms, you may just not be aware of how one's system can react, or possible in a little denial.. That is understandable....:O) as we all are concerned when the symptoms we get...we can't seem to understand them.

I would go with the doctors for now, and do what you can to reduss any kind of stress.
Excercising, Relaxation, and try do not drink coffee or to much alchohol... if you do drink.

If these feelings persist, follow up with your regular doctor. And narrow down the results from other doctors. Hopefully he can point you back to the right doctor, for a possible cause.

If not it is anxiety.

Best to you.
