pain relief

Ok, so im 19 and I did a pretty serious injury to the little finger on my right hand 16 months ago.  Since then the pain hasnt really ever gone away and the dr has said it looks very much like im getting the early stages of arthritis in the joints in my finger.  He advised me to just try over the counter paracetamol to see if that helps control the pain.  The paracetamol really doesnt help and I cant get back into the dr until march 12th.

Are there any home remedies to try to keep the pain at bay until my appt??

Thanks, Natalie

Thank you for your input.  I will try the finger splint and if needed keep on with the paracetamol.  Thanks again.

Dear Friend,
If paracetamol is not helping you, then i would suggest you to stop the joint movement, till you meet the doctor.
A simple finger splint would be enough. It should be long enough to immobilize the affected painful joint along with one joint above and below..
So please wear the same, till you meet the doctor.
Once the doctor's consultation is over, please discuss further.

Feel free to discuss more, in case of any clarification required.
Regards...
