Rheumatoid arthritis is an inflammatory disease that affects the joints and ultimately contributes to joint destruction and loss of normal function. It is most common in women and frequently occurs in midlife. The cause of rheumatoid arthritis in TCM is the blockage of the meridians.

Treatment principle or TCM
TCM medicine can expel pathogenic wind and activating the flow of Qi (vital energy) in the merridians, eliminating evil dampness and killing arthritis pains.

The only difference is that your bloodwork shows positive for many factors that indicate RA is present. Many, MANY patients are sero-negative, or don't show positive until much later, or may show positive, then negative, then positive. A good rheumatologist will treat you based on a wide range of evidence, not just bloodwork numbers. In any case, you should be treated exactly the same as someone with positive blood tests.
