Burning pain in joints

I have started experiencing burning pain in various joints.  It started in my hands and now I am getting bumps on the joints of many of my fingers.  Some of the fingers with them now have a flat area the length of my fingernail from cuticle to tip.

I am also experiencing it in my wrists, knees and hips on occasion.

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalsia - is this that?

Fibro often occurs together with other autoimmune disorders like rheumatoid arthritis. They're often hard to tell apart, except the RA will cause the joint changes your talking about, and fibro generally does not. If you aren't seeing a rheumatologist already, get a referral to one for testing.
