Does ANYone know a doctor who will listen in SC?

I have Osteoarthritis. I've had it for over 20 yeras. Its in my hands. I recently moved to the CSRA area of South Carolina. I have been to FOUR doctors here. They dont listen. They mess with my high blood pressure, my pain management, and Asperger's Syndrone medication. The results have been catastrophic. They want to try all kinds of things, and Im tired of it. I want to go back to the meds that WORK. Can ANYONE recommend a doctor between Columbia and Augusta that will stop jacking me around, and listen to what works? I work with my hands, and with this weird weather I am in agony. I have to pay cash, so keep this in mind.

Sorry to read you are having such a terrible time finding a doc that will work with you.  While I am not in SC, I can recommend a way to find a doctor that might work out better.  Contact support groups in your area and find out who other patients recommend.  This may save you a lot of time and frustration.  Also, if you don't have your medical records from your previous doc, get them so that your new doc can see your history.  This might pave the way for you.  Please let us know if you get the treatment you need.
