FMS Topical support

Does anyone with FMS-fibromyalgia use a topical solution medication that really helps with pain in joints, arms and legs? My Doc prescribed Pennsaid which seems to help some, but is not consistently effective.

Hi again! I remember answering on of your questions in the past.

You may go to a thread I started by searching at the Fibromyalgia Community
under IWILLDOTHIS for many Fibro management suggestions.

There are a couple of topical applications of natural remedies, one being DMSO, another is transdermal Magnesium Oil and one more- a salve/paste made from cayenne pepper.

Let me know if you need more details, regarding any of the pertinent recommendations.

Cheers and best wishes!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? FMS is usually managed with medications, lifestyle changes, and exercise. Medications such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, oral or topical may be used for symptomatic relief. However, if your present medication is not helping, it is best that you inform your attending physician for proper management.  A change of dosage or medicine may be indicated. Stress reduction and relaxation techniques may also help.Take care and do keep us posted.
