Hip and "sitting bones" pain on standing and sitting

In June 2008 I developed SEVERE pain in my right hip on weight bearing.  A work-up in the hospital ruled out hip fracture, cancer, etc. .  Only mild osteoarthritis of the right hip .  A Rheumatologist thought I had Pagets Disease of the bone , but a complete bone scan showed no evidence of Pagets disease.  For several months I have also developed the same type of pain in my left hip AND pain in the pelvic bone on sitting .  The pain is controlled with Lortab 5/500 4 to 6 times daily .  I have continued to be active at the advice of the Rheumatologist and my Primary Physican .  Please Help ..

You need to get a 2nd opinion from another rheumatologist.
