ana positive

I have been experiencing soft tissue and joint pain for a few months.  My doctor confirmed I was ANA positive.  I tested  negative for RA and I experience no other symptoms.   Is this reversible?  I've been taking plant steriols and have noticed some encouraging relief of my pain - can the sterols reverse the positive test?

I don't know what my titers were....I'm seeing my doctor in mid Oct.  I'll check at that time.
Thanks for your comments.

I'm not sure if they can or not.  What titers were in your ANA test?  Keep getting tested as sometimes RA and Lupus can take a while to show up.  I'm being treated with Plaquenil and it has kept my ANA negative.
