what is the differnce between  osteoarthris (in neck) and cervical degenertive disc diasese?

Arthritis refers to inflammation of a joint and osteoarthritis refers to degenerative arthritis; while degenerative disc disease refers to degeneration of the intervertebral discs and may be characterized by dehydration, displacement etc.; with or without inflammation.
