pain in the wrist with "swelling" of the bone

im experiencing pain in my wrist whenever it is touched. and the bone on my left wrist, where there is pain, is so prominent that it looks like a small lump.  it seems like there is a bone growth that looked like a small lump the size of  
a pea.  what do you think is happening to my wrist? thank you!

Hello there.  I would get an appt with your Dr and have it checked out.  Are you having just the pain in the wrist?  I know when my Still's is flaring up my bony parts of my wrists and knuckles are so swollen I can't see them.  There could be a cyst there or arthritis but it is hard to say, there are over 100 different kinds of arthritis.  I would definately give your Dr a call.
