pain

what would cause all one sided breakdown... arthritis need shoulder replacement; have AMD Both eyes, right eye worse, glaucoma in right eye; arthritis in R knee; surgery once already. R hip bursitis w arthritis. Migraines...all right sided.Why would one side of the body have more deterioration than the other? I am 60 years old.

Osteoarthritis is a one-sided arthritis but it does seem odd that other things are happening on that same side.  Have you talked with your doctor about looking at the big picture?  Perhaps a 2nd opinion to determine if something more systemic is going on?

Absolutely! Thankyou for your response. Blood work galore! nothing inflamed! always normal. I see Retinologist, Rheumatologist, Othoped, Internist...Opthmologist,  Oh and also chiropractor. Each Physican deals with their own speciality these days and I've had second opinions within each. The Doctors do not seem to be all too concerned. I was just perplexed and wondered if anyone ever noticed the same about themself.
