sudden onset & continue severe joint pain

three weeks ago on monday early am hours woke up with severe pain in left shoulder as day went on shoulder loosened up allowing me to move my arm more but as night set in again shoulder pain worsens and arm is very difficult to move in any direction. this lasted about 3 days. then on that thursday i was fine all day & night until friday night my right shoulder started the same thing also lasting 3 days with pain peaking at night hours keeping me up all night (taking 800mg of ibuprofen during this) then when right shoulder was better right hip did the same peaking at nights lasting 3 days & during hip the right knee started not quit as severe though Once again thursday & friday of 2nd week was fine then saturday of 2nd week right jaw & ear started hurting & drawing up by sunday morning i could not open my jaw and was in the worst of pain, during the day on sunday (same day as jaw) the palm of my right hand started and by sunday night it was completely drawn and pain was aweful and extended to almost my elbow. went to doc on monday did thousands of dollars worth of blood work everything came back negative told me it must be viral. im now on my third week with joint pain still moving from joint to joint now in left hand fingers.  i have had no fever, no colds, no rash, and no bites to my knowledge.  i do know 3 weeks ago on sat. & sun. my husband and i put out black pine bark mulch around the house as we do every year, i did comment on how strong it smelled but other than that we use the same every year.  any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I started having severe bilateral shoulder pain about 3 days ago.  Unable to move shoulders without pain.  Extremely tired, Pain worsens with movement.  Also mild pain in fingers and wrists.

Your post hit home with me....I too woke up with severe pain and my doc diagnosed gout with a blood test.  He put me on meds and I am some better. However I do have arthritis and fibromyalgia.  It might be worth a trip to your doc to see if it is gout.  I used to think gout only affected a person's toes, but my doc says gout is a form of arthritis and can be anywhere in  the body.

is it possible if you were diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome in your mid 30's that it could show up again in your early 50's and this would have something to do with the moving joint pain that i am having now.??????? i just posted earlier about the sudden onset & continue severe joint pain earlier
