very high (2123) creatine kinase , total serum

I am a 72 year old active women who has been diagnosed with osteo arthritis who has been  sent to my cardiologist because of  the my consistant high cpk reading. After  electrograms, changes in cholestrol medication,( lipitor, crestor,), now on zetia my tests keep coming in high.Outside of my lower extremities aches, which I credit to arthritis, I feel fine. Both doctors, arthritis and cardiologist, keep drawing blood with these rates still climbing. After a year of this circle, and being a believer in preventive mediciene, my concern is should I be concerne?

Statin medicine changes, electrocardiogram. While I have dealt mainly with 3 Drs. (Cardiologist, Rheumatologist, Interninst), all with no answer, but medicine change and blood tests. My next step is to request a test that can determine where the muscle damage is. (Recently found out this is possible).

I would be concerned that the rates keep climbing.  What other tests have you had?  Have you sought out a second opinion?
