Coughing

I have had this cough now for about a week. I have taken a few different over the counter meds but nothing has really been helping. The thing that concerns me about this cough is that everytime I breathe in it feels like I just got done running outside in the cold which in turn makes me want to cough more. What does this mean?

how long will bronchitis last? I was sick for over a month coughing,shortness of breathe, flem, wheezing... all of those have gone away except the wheezing.. sometimes its worse then other times.. I previously smoked for almost 2 years but at max 5 or 6 ciggs a day and hookah.. this wheezing is geting me worried

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

Since you have had the cough for a week, you should probably be seen by your doctor.  You could have a bronchitis.  Your doctor can listen to your lungs and give you a prescription medication if needed.  Good luck.
