need to have one but so scared to be put to sleep, do you know what they use, is it just like a relaxer shot, or is it something stronger.  i dont mind the prep to do it , just not one to be put to sleep. thank you

thank you for your time, i feel much better about it, just the anxiety of getting it i have health anxiety so its threw me into anxiety be glad when its over on the 19th hate the wait. thank you again

found out they put you to sleep with propofol with someone montioring you the whole time, is this safe, dr tells me they dont use stronge amount just a lite one really scares me in to anxiety attacks and not sure i will have the colonoscopy now

found out it is propofol with a nesthesia that will be there doing it. how safe is that drug plz. i know this is what killed michael jackson. yikes

Propofol is a safe drug when used in proper doses and in a monitored clinical setting.  I do not think that you need to be worried about this at all.  So go ahead and schedule your colonoscopy.  Good luck.
