vaginal labia's

recently i've noticed inner and outter labia swelling, i know its not an STD because i use condoms when i have sex, so that is out of the question. however my inner left labia has grown away from the clitorial area and my inner right labia is still attatch to the clitoris. Also around my clitoris is swollen well the whole area is swollen. And when i whipe i see alot of specks of skin on the tissue...now i have seen some vaginas via google and some have the inner labia's exsposed such as you see 4 lips and some just the outter labia's....now looking at mine only one inner labia is exsposed and not the other....so i guess my question is, is my vagina "growing" as in my body trying to get my other inner labia(right) to match or catch up with the other(left)

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

You should see your OB/GYN.  Since you say that you are experiencing some swelling, the OB/GYN can make sure that you do not have a vaginal infection.  In the meantime, avoid harsh soaps and perfumed body sprays/lotions which can cause irritation.  Be sure to wear cotton underwear (cotton is both an absorbant and breathable material).  Finally be sure to shower daily and pat the area dry.  Good luck.

PS.. Condoms are good at preventing most STD's however they are not 100%.  It is possible to contract an STD even when you use a condom so it is important to discuss your and your partners STD status with each other.
