cold turkey

hello I am addicted co codeine and have been taking solpadol for nearly 3yrs and currently have stopped taking them and started to take solpadeine I really want to stop taking them and am going to stop from today please can u tell me is it dangerous to suddenly stop and is there anything I can do to stop the headaches and the bodyaches?

go to the doctor and get on subxone i think thats how u spell it its subutex its for with draw and after a couple of weeks stop taking that and the withdraw is like nothing i promise and thats the way i did it and will next time and its good for pain also but i was withdrawing from 4 differnt painkillers and the wihdraw was why to much to take plus with the pain wow i wounted to kill myself lol i went though withdraw for 2 days then i went to the doctors lol it sucked so i know how you fell babe  if you ever want or need any help please contact me my name is ADAM im going to be a doctor soon i hope lol!!!***@**** 23 m ohio single too. lol !!!have a great night!!!:}

If you are deciding to stop the medication you should slowly wean off the medication rather than stopping totally. I would suggest decreasing the frequency or the number of tablets every day. Please see your doctor for an alternate treatment if this does not work or if the withdrawal symptoms are becoming too much to bear.
