pinprick breakouts after gall bladder removal

I had my gallbladder removed late November. After being readmitted for 10 days until Dec 8th, I feel better however in early January I started breaking out on my upper torso and face with pinprick bumps that look like pimples at first. Some are itchy and today, I still have them and nothing is working to get rid of them. Has anyone experienced anything like this after gall bladder surgery? right now I've been on prednisone and now doxycycline to try to clear them up. I'm thinking i may be allergic to the titanium clips inside me???

I have been seeing a dermotologist, we ran all the tests,,, it's not shingles or anything else an initial culture and bloodwork could find.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Judging by the medical literature, allergy to titanium must be extremely rare.  It is likely that the skin lesions are unrelated to your gallbladder surgery.  If by upper torso you mean your thorax or chest and especially if the lesions do not cross the midline you may have a herpes infection called herpes zoster or “shingles”.  The dates given indicate that you have had these lesions for over 2 months.  Be they herpes zoster or not, you should definitely consult with a dermatologist and soon.

Good luck.
