Hi. I am a 21 year old female and I started getting sinus headaches in July. I went to my doctor and she prescribed allegra and rhinocort for the allergies that were causing sinus pain and headache. These two medicines are not helping me a lot and I have been getting bad sinus headaches recently. There is a lot of pain in my forehead just between the eyes. I moved to texas from callifornia recently. i have symptoms of allergies (lightheadedness, stuffy nose, occasional cough with mucous and pain between the eyes). If i have allergy then shouldnt allegra and rhinocort work on me? I dont know im really confused and in lots of pain....please help!!!

Headaches are a common problem associated with sinus blockage.  They can occur any time of the day, but can be worse when you lie down.  However, headaches can be caused by many things.  It is important to determine if the sinuses are, indeed, the cause.  If they are, you probably have a good chance to relieve the sinus problem and reduce or eliminate the headaches.
