Swollen Lymph Nodes Normal w/Allergies?

I am just coming off almost four weeks of being sick. First bronchitis followed by a kind of asthma reaction where I was hacking constantly. I've never been diagnosed with asthma though I do have periodic allergy symptons. Doc prescribed an inhaler and a course of steroids. I'm feeling better but still coughing up mucus and my lymph nodes in my neck are tender and swollen, Is this normal for allergies/post-bronchitis? How long will this go on? If this is normal, how do I get my lymph nodes to go down? Thanks for your help!

Swollen lymph nodes usually indicate infection. I have asthma, but no swollen nodes. Never have had any.

I still have nodules in my lymph nodes from some bad throat infections that I had 8 years ago .... they aren't tender or sore just there.

It can take a while (a month or sometimes even longer) for swollen lymph nodes to go down so don't worry about it.  :)  Feel better
