Unusual yellow, pasty, very sticky phlem

I have been sick for a couple days now where I can barely breathe and having a hard time coughing up phlem. When I do however it is very painful,  pasty, yellow and very sticky.  Nothing I've ever had before. I've been running fevers, sweating, dizziness, weakness, shakes and the occasional throw up. I can barely talk since I can't breathe very well and the shortness of breath sends me into coughing fits. If you could help me that would be wonderful.

Thank you

Take 1000 mg. of vitamin B5 daily until symptoms abate. No side effects. The B5 will reduce inflammation and will thin the mucus. Much much better than any prescription medicine you will find. Make sure you drink enough water and other fluids.

It sounds like you have a pretty good infection going on there.  Not being able to carry on a conversation is a serious sign for people with asthma to head to the hospital.  I think that would be a good idea for you as well.

Take care and keep us posted.

You might have a lung infection ... defintely time to see your doctor ASAP .... if the breathing gets worse you need to head to the ER.

Hope you feel better soon!
