advair and cough

Hi my dosage of advair has been 100/50 for years. Several months ago, I noticed asthma symptoms returning. I saw my pulmonary doc last week and he upped advair to 250/50. How long should it take until I see a noticeable change? Also I have been having a dry cough, which I read can be a side effect of advair. Should that go away eventually? Thanks

I went to see the dr about a couph & he gave me Advair puffer.

How (& when after I start using it) will it help with my couph?

It took me almost 2 full months before advair controlled all my symptoms (however I went from no medicine to advair 250/50 4 puffs a day).

I would assume 2 weeks at least to see the full benefit.

I had a cough to begin with before I started advair, so I can't comment on that.
