asthma help

my asthma is not under control, at work it always bothers me. i am on the albuterol pump plus the breathing machine, which both does no good. what other inahlers can i use? or the breathing treatments? at the hospital, they give me xopenex, which works ok, not really good for me. the last time i went to the hospital, the therapist gave me atrovent and xopenex, with 4 doses in one. i told them it was making me too jittery, way more than normal and nobody listened. instead of getting better, it was staying the same and making me feel out of control. how can i get my doctor to prescribe me a pulse ox for at home? i am on medicad and medicare and i am sure that if he prescribed it to me, that they would let me have one.

I have the albuterol for both, flovent,& advair. I take the albuterol & flovent inhalers 4 times a day plus the machine.Advair twice. But I still have flair ups & when I do the best thing I have fond for me & my grandson is taking a very hot pot of water of the stove putting it on the floor under us. Then take a towel or blanket cover our head so we can get the stem from the water. I know that's an old thing but it works so well to brake up stuff in between meds. My mom has CO-PD & it helps her some times.
