do i have asthma?

Lately ive been coughing so much. they say its because its getting to fall and winter season, it will be coming frequently person to person. well when i run i breathe heavy, i cant catch my breathe, and i slow down a lot. im wondering if i have asthma or something else. this has only been going on for 2 days now so i dont know if it will go away soon. also my voice is raspy, like its sore or getting deeper.

I've had asthma for almost 20 years now (since birth), and I honestly don't believe that's your issue. I'm not a doctor, but although the beginning of your symptoms are dead ringers for asthma, the raspy voice and sore throat don't coincide. The changing of the seasons, especially fall to winter affect asthmatics, but also non asthmatics. The raspy voice and sore throat could be signs of strep throat, bronchitis or pneumonia which are very common around this time. Personally, I would go to the doctor as ask for a strep test and if that's negative, make sure they know the severity of your symptoms. Don't down play it, because from personal experience, breathing issues should be addressed as soon as possible and can become serious. I hope this helped, and I wish you luck!

Hello, Myself is asthma.
When you got asthma, its actually like breath in less oxygen.
But I don't think you got asthma, I think its just your sore throats ready to build up.

It could be allergies. They often get worse as you get older and this is a bad time of year for them. You may want to see an asthma and allergy specialist who can test you for allergies and asthma and treat you appropriately :)

Best wishes for you. Please know that even with allergies AND asthma, you can still run. There have been Olympic champions who have asthma and still win medals. See a doctor :)
