Antifungal treatment

My son had a stool analysis done and the results show large yeast.  Therefore, we are preparing to do an antifungal treatment.  I am just wanting advice from anyone that has done an antifungal treatment.  The main thing I am wanting to know is what was used, for how long, in what dosage and what the die-off effects were.  We are looking at S. Boulardi, Nystatin, Diflucan as our main options.  Thank you for any help.

We are using the specific carb diet.  www.pecanbread.com and the book breaking the vicious cycle.  It has done some wonderful things as well.  Also Dr Sid Baker has what is called and antifungal parade whixh has certain ones first with dosing then the next etc.  I have used Nystatin, ketoconozole and another I am drawing a blank.  But try the diet it has helped my son ALOT.  Good luck

We didn't use any medications.  We just went sugar free and used probiotics and he is still on that regime, although he has the same as other kids at parties etc.  It might be useful to get some advice from a nutricianist.  For example it might be better to go sugar free for a while before you try the medications so that it isn't such a shock to the digestive system.
