Another link that I highly recommend is a link to Professor Nicolson's website... http://www.immed.org   If you click on "clinical testing" --- it will list the CPT codes and the labs that do the testing for mycoplasmas. Unfortunately most regular labs do not test for the mycoplasmas that are present in fibro and CFS patients. However, some people are doing what is called a "therapeutic probe". Basically, they are just trying the treatment and seeing if they have herxing (detox) symptoms. If they have herxing symptoms, that means that the treatment is working... as it is killing off pathogens. Herxing symptoms can be very unpleasant, so it is very important to do your research first before starting any treatment. I originally started on the Marshall Protocol, but switched to Dr. David A. Jernigan's natural herbal-homeopathic formulas and am very pleased with my progress !!! I actually am convinced now that I will make a full recovery.

What treatment are you going through at the moment?
I've had Fibromyalgia for more than 25 years now.  There are things that I know help me eg. removal of all sugars and simple carbs, caffine etc.  
I am also convinced that there is some kind of auto immune difficulties associated with this because I have developed hay fever and also allergic asthma as well as food intolerances.
But regarding the testing for chronic infection (mycoplasma etc) - where did you go for that type of testing and what did they find out.
