Yes, I agree with drewlevas, I think what she is experiencing is pure puberty, but with a little bit of difference. this is not something to be alarmed at, but rather embrace and be excited that your little one is growing up!
Birth control pills. You may save your sanity and hers.
I went thrue a stage like that when I was about the same age. Teenage years are hard for every kids, but for kids like us it can be extremly difficulte. I remembrer locking myself in my room, not wanting to listen to music at all and yell at my mother when she was doing or saying something that was making me edgy! Been able to speak with a concelor helped me a lot. It passed for me, it took sometime but my mother did a very good job at trying to stay available to me. I see it now that I must have hurt her feeling, but I could not help myself.
I hope it's going to be better soon. Remembre she is throught a difficult time.

She is 12 years old now that you say that is true she is growing up :( I want to help her because usually she was very calm and now she has a lot of meltdows I notice to that she is not sleeping well she take melatonin but every single noise seems to wake her up.
How old is the girl, it could be related to hormonal change, onset of teenagehod.
