Brucellosis PCR test sought

In an old discussion on "MS, Lupus or  Brucellosis", Dr. Garth Nicolson said, "There are a few labs in the Midwest that can test for Brucella in human blood samples using a PCR-based test format."

Dr.  Nicolson, if you could please let me know the names of theose laboratories, I would appreciate it.  My chronic Brucellosis seems to have recurred, and I would like to get a definitive test done.  I have never showed antibodies to Brucellosis, even when cultures in CSF were positive.

Welcome to the forum.
In regards to your question, you may want to go to
www.immed.org ,as you may have a better chance of
contacting Dr. Nicolson there.
From what I have noticed, he hasn't been active lately
in this forum. Again, who knows, he may post a reply
soon. It might worth trying through the website, though.
