GBS and the 1976 Flu shot received while serving in the military

My husband has been diagnosed by the VA as having peripheral Neuropathy.  He takes 8  Vicodin a day for the pain.  His symptoms began in 1977.  In the coarse of two years he received 4 flu shots.  18 Feb 77 He got a Biovalent and Monovalent flu shot, and on 18 Jan 78 got another flu shot, and again on 15 Dec 78 yet another flu shot.  

After 1977 flu shot he had a horrible rash, pain and swelling in hands and feet and then chest pains.  He was 17 years old.  As life went on he had lower back pains, horrific pains shooting through his upper body, problems with eye pain, headaches.  He is now 50 years old.

He has had relapses, just last year chest pains. On one episode he had an extremely high CK level and they asked if he drank antifreeze.  

Do you think any of this would be an indicator for GBS?  We are asking that his VA doctor do a spinal tap to determine if so.

Vaccinations have mercury in them and can make you very sick.  Google "mercury poisoning" and you can get information on this.  There are detoxification programs you can follow to help get the mercury out of your body.  I followed one by Tom Mcquire and it worked for me.  One of the best vitamins for detoxification is vitamin C.  I take at least 3 grams a day and some programs recommend more.  If your husband takes 3 grams a day and notices a difference might want to look into a detoxification program.  There is a book "Prescription for Natural Healing" which recommends the various supplements for helping with this problem.  Our health is effected by what we put in our bodies.  Eating natural foods which are created by nature will allow your body to repair itself.  The processes foods that people are eating today are making them sick.  Have your husband start eating raw fruits and vegetables and see if it makes a difference.  It is worth a try and will not cost you that much.

So sorry to hear bout what your husband has and is going through.  I personally don't feel goo about all the vaccinating that is going on.  Many of them have mercury in them.  Scarry! :(

Anyway, you might be onto something w/ the Guillain-Barre syndrome.  Symptoms sure do match.  I'm not sure what CK levels are.  Could you expound on that more clearly.
