Hi!
Frayed nerve endings are caused by peripheral neuropathies. These can be due to diabetes, hypothyroidism, Lyme’s Lupus, vitamin B 12 deficiency, multiple sclerosis and many other causes. Injury to nerve either by muscle pull, or an accident is another cause. You need to consult your PCP first and get routine tests for this. Then you may need to consult a neurologist. Take care!

Hi!
Yes, Humira can cause tingling and numbness in both legs and hands, and weakness of legs. Other than Humia, similar symptoms can be seen in vit B12 deficiency, diabetes, hypothyroidism and lupus. However, since you are on Humira, you must consult your doctor (as you have) and stress on the need to change the dose or shift to other medications. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
