Increased symptoms for digestive issues, what may be the cause?

I am experiencing nausea, dizziness, fatigue, loss of appetite (or unable to eat due to nausea), diarrhea, metal taste in my mouth, crumbly stomach, cramping, and shakiness.  I have had IBS and acid reflect for years.  This seems different.  The symptoms seem to be more elevated right before and during my menstrual cycle.  Mornings and evenings I also experience elevated symptoms. I often get nauseous before and after a bowel movement.  I wonder if there has been a change in hormones that is adding to the problem.  Or what I should do to look into the increase of symptoms.  I have never experienced the intensity or longevity of the symptoms before.

Also, if your PCP is the Dr who is ordering your test and nothing appears abnormal . You might ask him to send you to a specialist for further testing. Again, my mother's started much like yours and even ended in a full hysterectomy. It wasn't till she went to an Endocrinologist that she started finding her answers....Just keep connecting tha dots and if something more serious is there, they'll find it.

I'm male so can not relate entirely but have had IBS for 20+ years. 42 now and it has come to our families attention that there is a history of autoimmune diseases: Addison's disease and other thyroid disorders. As I hope this is not tha case with you, I thought the information might be helpful. If nothing else, process of elimination.....How old are you? My mother's condition started much tha same and it went misdiagnosed and I'll treated for many years. Good luck
