Is it just fibro or more?

Good morning everyone! I was diagnosed with fibro a few years back based on trigger points. That dr at the time ignored my joint symptoms because they didn't get red or hot. Last year I went to a new rheum. and he confirmed fibro and said that many of my seemingly unrelated symptoms were based of fibro (chronic intersistal cystitis, IBS, migraines, etc).

Due to having increasingly worse symptoms of joint pain, extreme itchiness despite using lotion and coconut oil, increased and extreme muscle pain and ongoing chronic back pain that PT hasn't helped and no OTC medications touch (I take a mild narcotic almost daily for it just to function) and GI tract problems I headed to my PCP. He did blood work (came back normal, SED was an 8), an X-Ray for my back (no inflammation) and a CAT with and without contrast. The CAT came back with mild bone degeneration, and bilateral spondylosis on my L5. The doctor said this is indicative of arthritis. Then when we discussed treatments for this he said to increase my Gabapentin (that I take currently at 800mg per day for the fibro pain). Since the back pain started approximately 6 months ago my fingers, wrists, hips, knees, cervical spine and toes have all been increasingly painful. My gut says something else is going on but no one believes me and they all want to chalk it up to fibro. Help!

Don't let them "chalk it up" to any one thing.  Your gut is  right, it's more.  See my other post here and also go to a holistic doc….they have the answers to all this stuff.  You may not want to hear the answers. as often they involve getting off all sugar, dairy and gluten, and some people think that's just too hard.  Look up gluten, look up leaky gut, look up food allergies, you'll get some answers.
