New information, no diagnosis.

I had a followup neurology appointment today.  They told me that I had low vitamin D levels and that could cause some of my problems.

Just last week my rheumatologist said my calcium was low.

Last year my B6 was high and was told I'm pre-diabetic.

Give all of the strange vitamin levels it could explain just about everything I've been going through with the muscle/nerve symptoms.

Now this all started happening a few years ago with the last couple being where it has progressed the most/rapidly.

Other related things I have is GERD and chronic idiopathic urticaria (itchy skin/hives).

Consequently I've become more sensitive to food since the middle of last year.  Probably due to the mal-absorption of nutrients.

Any ideas?

I got some supplements at GNC yesterday.  They have this one that has 3, D, Magnesium, and Calcium.

The thing is I eat a pretty well balanced diet already AND I already take supplements.  So to hear that those things were low was a bit of surprise for me.

I think the problem lies in the fact that it was four different doctors that pointed out each thing.  I feel that my old primary doctor really didn't look at the whole picture.  Maybe when I transfer to a internal med doc he'll take the time to see everything together.

Hives are a symptom of autoimmune as is being insulin resistant. Maybe the vitamin D will help?  That can also help metabolize blood sugar.
