Possible MS and Raynaud's Syndrome

Ever since I have been on here I have complained of unexplained freezing cold feet and hands during the day. This is just the first time I have ever posted on this forum. I have been tanning and noticed yesterday blue fingernails. So, symptom checker, here comes another. Raynaud's came up and just explained it so well but it is almost always secondary to a primary auto immune disorder diagnosis. I had none, or so I thought.

Went to the eye dr. today with 2nd bout of "pink" eye. Different dr. than before. He wasn't trying to rush me out, he was trying to learn me. What I learned is that is not pink eye and wasn't last month either. Its Optic Neurosis. He asked a few more questions. For instance, headaches? Everyday! Do you get "pink" eye a lot? Yep! Do you have a distinct part of your body that hurts right now and hasn't let up? YES! My right foot seems to be in a constant cramp even when its cold, and usually the pain doesn't come on until they warm up at night. He asked if I had any family members with an auto immune disorder. No one sticks out. Then he laid the MS bomb on me. Turns out all of the things that go on with me everyday are NOT normal. I may suffer from this. I am going to have an MRI done as soon as my insurance picks up in a few months. The constant fatigue, coldness or sometimes have to get out of the tanning bed because I can no longer tolerate the heat, the aches, the pain, the head pounders that nothing ever helps with, the strange foot swelling, thoughts that are NOT thought out properly, walking into walls and now Optic Neurosis.

Is anyone convinced that it is or is not MS and Ray's? If it is, I get all of the answers that I have ever complained about summed up and a feeling of completion. On the other hand, what if it is? Now I am scared! What will happen o me, my kids, my husband or my life?

I'm not trying to diagnose, but since I'm familar w/ lupus and not MS, I can see some simularities.  Optic Neurosis is also assoiciated w/ lupus as well as the "feeling cold" all the time, fatigue and joint pain.  Being sensitive to the sun or ultraviolet rays are part of lupus too.

Just something to think about and maybe discuss w/ your dr.

God bless you, Kara

Hello Anjel!
I don't have answers for you, but someone will come along soon who does.
I simply wanted to let you know, I read your post a min ago, and you have come to the right place! I find a lot of answers to my own personal questions just by reading about others who are suffering the same thing.
I totality understand where you are coming from! I was and still am in your shoes some what. It's hard to have so many questions and have to wait for answer!
This can be a rather slow process sometimes, but you know?
I'm glad it is, at least I know the Neroes and Doctors aren't guessing and they are being careful.
I hope you get the answers you need soon! Huggs, NiCee
