Sjogren's. Does anyone nausea with this?

Hi, I am newly diagnosed with Primary Sjogren's Syndrome and have been suffering from awful nausea, I was just wondering if anyone out there also has Sjogren's and if nausea is also another symptom of this disease. I would love to hear if anyone does gets this symptom with Sjogren's and if so what do you take for it. Thank you.

when I first developed Sjogrens 25 years ago I was vomiting every morning my stomach was so upset.  That went away after I found out what I had and that I was not dying from it so maybe some of it was nerves but my stomach was the first thing it hit when it first came out in me.  So I guess it's possible maybe from excessive acid production.

Hello to you...I am also newly diagnosed with Sjogren's and SLE. I have stomach problems pretty much daily, and have since I was a child, but until recently it was put off to IBS, or acid reflux, etc. From what I have gathered, the problems can be due to the lack of moisture in the GI tract, and the inflammation Sjogren's or SLE can cause to the esophagus, abdomen, intestines, etc. My Rheumy has put me on Plaquenil, and I also take otc Pepcid-ac, and Gas-x as I have a lot of bloating and cramping, too...It is too early for me to tell if the Plaq. is working, and it can take months to know. Also, some meds have the side effect of nausea, are you taking anything that could be doing it, or something new? I have noticed I do better if I eat small meals spaced out, and small snacks thru the day. I also have had to give up some foods that I really loved, but they did not love me...the trade off has been less nausea and pain. Good Luck to you, and I am sure there will be others, with more experience along to help you out...
