I take Flexeril and Zanaflex for MS. Do I need both?

Thanks forthe information.  I can't take Zanaflex during the dayy and still function. I can take the Flexeeril at any time and still be alert as possible. MS has its own problems and, no two days are the same.

Did I mention that I also have narcolepsy and adult onset of hives. J

Hi!
Both Flexeril and Zanaflex are muscle relaxants with Zanaflex having a shorter duration of action than Flexeril. At times a combination of a long acting relaxant is given with a short acting one for proper control of spasticity. Whether you need both or not can be decided only by your treating doctor based on your symptoms and response to drugs. Take care!
