What is wrong with me?

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to get some feedback on what you guys might think is wrong with me. Am I just a hypochondriac with bad anxiety? Or is this real? For that past year or two, my face and hands always feel hot! They feel like I have a permanent sunburn. I am also having bad acid reflux to the point where it feels like I am having a heart attack. Now, over the past few weeks I have a ton of joint pain (mostly my fingers and forearm) with random tingling in my fingertips or toes. I am getting muscle twitches all over (below left ribcage, left eye, shoulder, butt, etc) with occasional weakness in my left arm.

Also, my memory and sharpness is HORRIBLE. I have always been extremely quick, sharp and one of the best multi taskers around. I have my MBA, a good job and have never had problems thinking quickly or keeping focused when one of my employees is asking me a question, but for the past few months, I literally forget what I am saying in the middle of my sentence, forget what someone is asking me because I start drifting off thinking about something else. I am freaking out!!!!! What is wrong with me?

Now, I am worried I have MS, ALS, and a group of other horrible diseases.

Background info:

28 years old. Always been very athletic and healthy, but over the past few months I haven't worked out at all, I haven't been eating right for a while and don't drink much water. I definitely have some sort of anxiety that started about a year ago (not sure why) and I have an extremely stressful job. I get about 6 hours of sleep a night, work 10 hours per day. I have also been taking subutex for 7 years (broke up ribs and back in a bad accident and had to take pain killers for years, so this helped me get off, I am very close to being done and only take .5mg per day)

My CRP was elevated to 1.5 but then dropped to 1.17 last week, so the doctor said I have inflammation (but this could be from acid reflux he thinks) But then I have some weird pain in my fingers, felt weak in my left arm for a week (this went away) and lately when I exercise, even a little, I feel so exhausted, drained, shaky and nauseous. I have never been like this, so I feel like something has to be wrong..

Here are the other results:

hgb A1C. 5.7%
sed rate: 8mm/hr

All CMP fasting results including glucose. creatinine, BUN, etc were all within the normal range.

I am mostly freaked out about my low lymphs result (20%) as everything says it is an HIV indicator which is making me lose my mind!

Nutritional deficiencies must be ruled out.
The cause of acid reflux has to be checked.
Is it low or high acid? The symptoms are the same.
Anxiety could be both a cause and a symptom.
Chronic biological and mental stress will cause an adrenal overload.
If it remains unresolved it leads to adrenal fatigue-not recognized by conventional endocrinology until most of the adrenal function is destroyed.
Hypothyroid would be secondary to adrenal fatigue, if and when it manifests.

I hope this helps.

Nobody has replied yet, so I'll pop in a suggestion.

Have you been tested for anything? Gone to the docs?

I would recommend you have your B12 levels checked first of all. If you look up symptoms of B12 deficiency, they range from problems with red blood cells, nerves and GI issues. Tingling and burning sensations in the extremities can be a sign of a severe deficiency. If your levels are anywhere near the lower end of range, take a supplement for a couple of months anyway and see if it makes a difference.

You might as well get a full blood count, thyroid panel, liver function panel etc while you're at it.

Do not go straight to MS, or ALS, or anything like that. Check the simple things first, and try not to worry about it.
