season dilemma: flue shot (or not)?

what is your attitude towards flue shots? I got some in the past but now I am afraid a vaccine might boost my antibodies? Is there any literature available about autoimmune disorders and vaccinations?

My daughter has the autoimmune disease ITP and will need to have her spleen taken out in a couple of weeks. Without her spleen, she will need to have all vaccines, and has already had the flu injection. But the doctor told her if she still had the spleen, she may not need it, but only because the spleen is out and her immune system will be low.

I do have some information for you... at least for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. And also about whether or not people with Th1 inflammatory diseases (includes autoimmune illnesses) should get the flu shot.
